I am on the activities committee for our ward – so I went and helped set up our ward Halloween party – which actually turned out to be pretty fun. I didn’t think Emma would get into the kid-activities too well because of all the noise and people everywhere, but she had so much fun! I’m really upset I didn’t take my camera to that part! She went fishing for prizes, candy tosses, duck ponds, put put golf (not good at the end of that game because she didn’t feel they needed the ball and puck back), but the very best was the bean bag toss. She actually threw one from a few feet back and made it through the hole! I’m hoping for a tom-boy, so it may have been luck, but I’m going to say it was a good sign of throwing ability!

These two white balls in her hands are chocholate eye-balls that she personally picked out from her bean bag toss. She loved them so much, she held them in the car the whole ride home, and the ride back to another part! I went to pull her out, and the chocolate and peanut-butter were oozing out of her hands….yummy!

Our party didn’t have a Trunk-Or-Treat, so we crashed my friend Sarah’s ward party, too. We tried to get Emma to say Trick-Or-Treat to them, but she would just have her bag out and say “treat”. The girl knows what’s important.
Sarah and Chris dressed up as Popeye and Olive-oil – very cute!
I tried to get her treat bag away so I could buckle her up…. not the best idea. She had quite a grip on that thing.
You can’t tell from the pictures – but Brad was pretty sick this day – barely moving on the couch, but got himself up and ready because he didn’t want to miss Emma on Halloween! How sweet huh? What a great Dad! It’s always so much fun going as a whole family – and it was a great Halloween activity!
