Jeff came over for a few days on his way to Stanley and then back to Oregon, and what do you think the engineer and future computer science major did for fun? Pulled out their laptops and talked about their new levels of “dorkdom.” Still, it was fun couple of days, and Emma, though not so sure at first, got to know her Uncle Jeff a little bit.
It’s amazing how fast Emma is learning and growing. Our neighbors have a cat that likes to run in our house every now and then, and Emma loves to chase it and squeal when it runs away. She also enjoys pulling herself up to a standing position; though with some attempts ending in tears with a bonked head, she’s doing pretty good.
Emma’s new thing is scrunching her nose (picture on the right) mainly when there’s wind or sun in her face. She also pulls this face at new people as if to tell them they stink
