Ward Christmas Party December 19, 2008

Filed under: Emma, Holiday — egwights @ 7:41 pm

We all had a great time at the ward Christmas party. We ate food and were in the front row for the programs – which Emma was bustin’ moves to the whole time. She loves to dance! Then we got in line to see Santa Clause, expecting to get the classic screaming baby. Well, Emma screams with Jeff and everyone else at Thanksgiving, but has no problems at all with Santa.  Who knew? Guess she knows not to be mean to the one who gives gifts and candy!

Thanksgiving December 13, 2008

Well, I figure since it’s almost Christmas, we should put up a few Thanksgiving pictures!

What can I say? The food was Fabulous! Company was great! It was fun having most of the Wight family here in Boise, and being able to go to the Temple with them to seal together some families. What a great experience and opportunity!

We kept the oldest and youngest together to try and isolate the mess on the floor. (Just kidding Grandpa!) They just were getting along so well!

These two are always happy when there’s food near!

We want to give a HUGE thanks to Rachael Wight for taking these pictures for us over the Thanksgiving break! She’s got such a great skill! I think they turned out great! These are the first real pictures we’ve gotten of us as a family since Emma’s been born. It’s so much more fun when there’s a little person!

Well, after three years of being in the nursery in each ward Brad and I have moved into, I was expecting something similar. That didn’t happen. I have been called to be the Laurel adviser. I feel like I just got out of Young Women’s, and to be put back in as a teacher, is a little scary! I’m excited though; this should be a fun one, once I get over the fear of teaching twice a month! It will keep me busy though – which will be good. (I’ll put up a Thanksgiving post  on Emma’s nap – she freaks out if there’s a computer on that she can’t mess with!)
