We’ve been having a blast with the good weather! Emma loves being outside where she can run free and pet the neighbor’s Pug Frank – So cute! She also has discovered dirt, rocks, and the neighbor’s potted flowers…. not the best thing. She is insistent that she walk the entire way to the mailbox at the bottom of the lane and back and throws a fit when picked up to be directed in the right direction- but all in all, we’re so excited for the warm weather supposedly coming soon!

For those who haven’t seen Emma in a while, I thought I’d let you know – She is finally growing some good hair, and it has the cutest little curls at the ends! In this second picture, I was trying to show that she has 4 teeth! (I tried to move her lips out of the way, but she bit me, so this is the best tooth-picture you’re getting!)

Well, I tried to grab a little computer time while Emma was distracted, and a few minutes later, I find the box of 100 Neon Straws emptied throughout the kitchen and living room and tupperware and bowls everywhere. It was worth it I guess, we both enjoyed it!

Emma’s turning into quite a cuddler – I love it! But most of the cuddles are because she wants a soft spot to relax and drink her juice – which she is addicted to. Her new thing is helping out with unloading the dishwasher. She gets to hand me the silverware and put the plastic bowls away. She loves to help out – and anytime she hears the dishwasher open, she’s right by my side! What a great kid – huh?
As an update with us, I was assigned to give the Easter lesson to the YW, and I was pretty overwhelmed, but it turned out to be a great opportunity, and went pretty well. I’ve been getting some digital scrapbooking done, and trying to help Brad design some web-sites – It’s been pretty fun! Brad’s still doing AWESOME in school, working at Home Depot, and working to put together some new, cool sites!
Hope everyone had a great Easter!
Oh – I almost forgot the funny story! Grandpa and Grandma Wight came for another little visit, and right before they were leaving, Judy needed to use the restroom. (When we use the bathroom, Emma likes to scratch on the door, stick her fingers under, or shove under little toys for us to play with). Well, Grandma didn’t shut the door tight enough, and Emma barged right in and had a nice little conversation with her! The rest of us were dying of laughter in the other room! – Due to graphic-potty nature – no pictures… but it was funny! Sorry Grandma!
